Deepika – Centre Manager

Namaste! My name is Deepika Lahar (Dee). I have been living in New Zealand since 2014. I have worked in Early childhood for more than 7 years. Being mother of 2 children, I always enjoy having fun with the children while also sharing their learning journey.

I believe children learn best through play and education at their own pace, level and ability and most importantly when they feel safe and secure in trusting relationships. Fun n Play to me is more than a place to work. It is a place where I can be a part of laying the foundation for young learners, to prepare them for future learning. I respect and encourage children’s own culture and languages in the centre.
