What an exciting start to the week here at our Early Learning Centre! Our tamariki were full of energy and curiosity as they explored a range of learning-rich activities throughout the day.
During ako time, we focused on the letter ‘N’ – Ngē! Ngē! Ngē! Our little learners practiced recognising the letter, saying its sound, and naming things that start with ‘N’. He rawe tō rātou ako!
We had so much fun with our float and sink experiment! Tamariki made predictions and tested different objects in the water – lots of wide eyes and happy giggles as they discovered what floats (ka rewa) and what sinks (ka totohu).
During mat time, we had a kōrero about personal hygiene – learning how to keep our bodies clean and healthy. We talked about washing our hands, brushing our teeth, and having a bath. The tamariki shared their own routines – he tino pai ngā whakaaro!
Outdoors, the sunshine invited us to jump on the bikes, splash around with water play, and get creative in the sandpit. So much worked and laughter as they played together under the spring sky.
Indoors, our imaginative explorers enjoyed pretend play, building towers with blocks, and discovering the magic of magnets – testing attraction and repulsion like little scientists.
Our whānau of learners are always busy, always learning, and always inspiring us with their curiosity and joy. Ka mau te wehi, tamariki mā!
We’re excited for another week of discovery and fun at our early learning centre – thank you to all our whānau for your continued support.
