It has been so lovely welcoming our tamariki back to Fun N Play Daycare centre and the centre was filled with smiles, excitement, and a sense of belonging. The children were happy to reconnect with their teachers and friends, settling back into the familiar routines that provide comfort, confidence, and a strong foundation for learning.
Learning Manners and Communication our Daycare centre
During mat time, we focused on the importance of manners and respectful communication. Through shared stories and group discussions, tamariki explored kind words, active listening, and taking turns. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they participated thoughtfully and engaged with one another.
Preschool Transition Activities Supporting Early Literacy
Our preschoolers transition group spent time working on letter recognition, painting and letter tracing worksheets. These activities support early literacy development and help build the skills and confidence needed for a smooth transition into school. The children showed great focus and enthusiasm as they practised their learning.
Outdoor Play and Exploration at Our Daycare Centre
Outdoor play was another highlight of the day in our daycare centre. Tamariki enjoyed exploring the environment while practising balancing, climbing, and imaginative play. These experiences encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and physical development, with children supporting and learning from one another along the way.
